Artbeat is the project designed and imagined for art lovers who desire a new personnalized museum experience. Our starting point is that the first and crucial factor about museums is to enjoy your visit. However, you won't be necesseraly enjoying everything you see in the museum. Especially in big museums, for example the Louvre, where you've got plenty of various styles in a huge area. The fact is that you'll necessarily lose time on going through all piece of arts, some of them might don't even interest you. This causes stress, disappointment or anger and a worse museum experience. If you feel like losing time and don't fully enjoying the exhibition, because you don't know your personal affects in art or just because you spend time finding what you want, we have a solution for you.

for whom?
We're targeting people who enjoy art but don't necessarily know their tastes or want to gain time and emotion in museums. This is a way to facilitate their visit. Thanks to Artbeat you can improve your museum experience. This app is destinated to people that already like to go to museums. We're targeting art lovers, and new potential visitors who have a liking for visiting museums. Indeed, the point of the project is to create a personnalized and better museum experience for them.
what? how?
We mustn't forget the fact that for many museum-attenders, a visit is a way to fly from the oppressing technology of the every day life. So we need a not so intrusive technology. Thus, our project works very simply : several devices will be connected with IoT. The visitor will wear a watch who measures its hearbeat (an apple watch is already doing that), then if the visitor feels something different, stronger in front of a certain work, the watch will send the info to the museum and its database that will be able to indicate to the visitor other works in the same style that should bring him emotion, with their location on his watch or on his smartphone depending on his choice. Our project is really "connecting" the museum with its visitors.

Move-seum is designed to make learning and appreciating art for families. Museums house several varieties of objects - Paintings (obviously😀), sculptures (duh!😉), fossils (hmm🤔), stamps, wax dolls🧛♀️, you name it! When you visit with your family, it is common to see that atleast one of you is roaming around tired and aimless because you're bored or nothing interests you. But worry not, thats where our idea comes to play.
For example look at the following review. Although hilarious to read, it's exactly the kind of experience we're trying to avoid.

for whom?
Here we focused on families to bring a tramondous improvement to their experience in museum. However, it is important to realise the two essences of these issue:
(1) the predominant purpose for a family museum trip is educating, mostly educating the childern;
(2) museum trip is one kind of opportunity for families to stay togther and communicate, and this opportunity does not happen a lot.
Then the customer profile becomes to be quite clear, this is what they think: grasp this presure FAMILY TIME to have some fun, and deliever a intersting lesson to childern.
Be guided by the principle above, we could interpret our goal as to make the family museum experience a joyful and educative time to spend together.
what? how?
The basic technological picture is simple: (1) there will be many different types of devices and equipments to manipulate visitors' four senses, for example, manipulate vision by changing lights, manipulate smell by release some odour substance; (2) at the same time, visitors will take a wearable device to detect location, mood, physical indicators etc. (3) all these devices are connected by IoT.
With the assistance of museum IoT, the usage scenario is like: visitors step into a wonderland, like a Harry Potter world or a Jurassic Park world. Following a story line, they will have a route passing by all exhibitions in certain order. When visitors come to a dinosaur's skeleton, lights will focuse, the skeleton will move and dinosaur's screen sound will be displayed. When visitors pass by a painting in middle age, a holographic laser projection device will start to play the story happened in the painting.
The current museum experience is much more a one way communication happens in a simple scenario. An immersive experience will not only make the museum visiting more intreseting, but also make the educational function more powerful.
